  75.      Restaurant Cost Control requires 300K of free memory, DOS version
  76.      3.2 or later and 1 mg of disk space.

  80.     1. To start program  type   INV press  <ENTER> at C:\INV> prompt.
  81.        To start DEMO  type  RSTDEMO press  <ENTER> at C:\INV> prompt.

  83.     2. Printing of the manual can be done by selecting "User Help"
  84.        from the main menu and then selecting "Print Info".
  85.  
  86.     3. For evaluation purposes we have provided Sample Inventory data so
  87.        the operator can see how the screens appear and how reports
  88.        are handled. We suggest that you spend some time working with the
  89.        sample data and familiarizing yourself with the manual. Learn all
  90.        the basic functions prior to starting to add your own data.
  91.  
  92.     4. The Evaluation period is ninety days (90) after which the
  93.        evaluation software will cease to function. If you have
  94.        questions or problems please give us a call.
  95.  
  96.     5. There is a file on disk called "MYDATA.BAT". When you type
  97.        MYDATA at the DOS prompt; a sub directory called (SAMPLES) will
  98.        be created to house the sample data that comes with the package
  99.        and those files will be copied to this directory. The data files
  100.        with the ".NEW" extention will be renamed with the ".DBF"
  101.        extention. When you start the program again INDEX the data files.
  102.        At this point you can begin loading your own Vendor & Expense
  103.        data and utilize the software for your operation.
  104.  
  105.     6. If you decide to use Inventory & Cost Control and register the
  106.        software we can be of additional help to you.
  107.         a. We can review your categories and advise you on the proper
  108.            Setup procedures.
  109.         b. We can review your Expense Item file and advise you on the
  110.            its proper Setup procedures.
  111.         c. For a nominal fee we can transfer existing data to the
  112.            software files.

  173. All the files needed to run this software have been
  174. compressed into the file "RSTCTL45.ZIP".
  175. 1. Create a directory on your hard drive called "INV".
  176.    At your DOS root directory prompt. "C:\>"
  177.    type   MD INV  press <ENTER> key.

  179. 2. Move to the new  "INV" directory.
  180.    At your DOS root directory prompt. "C:\>"
  181.    type   CD\INV  press <ENTER> key.

  183. 3. Copy the "RSTCTL45.ZIP" file to the "INV" directory.
  184.    At the "C:\INV>" prompt.
  185.    type  COPY d:\dir name\RSTCTL45.ZIP  press <ENTER> key

  187. 4. Decompress the "RSTCTL45.ZIP" file.

  204. a BBS follow the above instructions and copy "RSTCTL45.ZIP"
  205. to the "INV" directory.
